TOP TEN WORST INSECT STINGS!

Turns out a Mister Schmidt managed to scale the pain of insect stings in comparison with something else. The bugs are arranged in "More painful order" with the first being the least painful and the last being the most!

And here they are, the top 10 worst insect stings of all time!

1. Sweat Bee

Light, ephemeral, almost fruity (fruity?). A tiny spark has singed a single hair on your arm

2. Fire Ant

Sharp, sudden and mildly alarming. Like walking across a shag carpet and reaching for the light switch (this is presumably through static)

3. Bullhorn Acacia Ant

A rare, piercing, elevated sort of pain. Someone has fired a staple into your cheek (YIKES!)

4. Bald Faced Hornet

Rich, hearty, slightly crunchy (I like this, Crunchy!). Similar to getting your hand mashed in a door
5. Yellow Jacket

Hot and smoky, almost irreverent. Imagine W.C. Fields extinguishing a cigar on your tongue.

6. Honey Bee and European Hornet

Like a matchead that flips off and burns on your skin.

7. Red Harvester Ant

Bold and unrelenting. Somebody is using a drill to excavate your ingrown toenail! (Say what now???)
8. Paper Wasp
Caustic and burning. Distinctly bitter (bitter?) aftertaste. Like spilling a beaker of hydrochloric acid on a paper cut! (Yeowzah!)

9. Tarantula Hawk Wasp

Blinding, fierce, shockingly electric. A running hair drier has been dropped into your bubble bath! (Yes but if that had happened I'd be dead now wouldn't I?)

10. Bullet Ant

Pure, intense, brilliant pain! Like fire-walking over flaming charcoal with a 3-inch nail in your heel! (That's gonna feel sore in the morning)

Hope that helps you the next time you get stung! Although...I would always say treat animal with respect and avoid getting stung at all!
